West Cornwall is famous for its beautifully rugged coastline, indented with secret coves and long sandy beaches; the barren moorland is scattered with archaeological remains. These features have inspired the many artists that live in this area.

West Cornwall offers you the chance to chill out and relax, to surf, rock climb, walk, swim, deep sea dive, fish, horse ride, bike ride and to visit galleries, small harbours and villages, experience the famous open-air cliff top theatre at The Minack, and many tourist attractions in the area including the Eden Project in St Austell, just a short train ride away.

The Penzance YMCA facilities provide the ideal base for individuals, couples, families or groups of any size, for short weekends or longer holidays. Penzance YMCA is also a convenient centre for conferences, field trips, and language schools or sports activities.
